Purification
In this series, the temporality of life is portrayed with a portrait, which is a non-native duck, hung on hooks and raw wood. The blood tests symbolize the fragility as opposed to the contaminated of our lives and how one moment everything can shatter. The fluids and secretions drain into the central canal in the back. With great compassion and love for the animals, I allowed myself to hang the ducks in this way.
The sleeping beauty
The beauty may be asleep maybe anesthetized.
The works are constructed with thin color(art povere’), dark layers
of soft pencils and graphite.
All work is empowerment of one internal organ.
Some of works are frontal and some of the back.
It all happens in one bath.
